Brigid’s first book was ‘Women Under the Influence’ written for Virago when she was 25. She continued for the next three decades with a range of other publishers, writing around themes of women’s experiences, relationships and health. Along the way she created books for ChildLine and for White Ribbon Alliance (‘The Atlas of Birth’; ‘Stories of Mothers’ Lost’) and her latest book ‘On Becoming a Mother’ was published by OneWorld in 2016.
