Keep warm by the Aga in the huge country kitchen or sit round the woodburning stoves in the sitting rooms, to read, write or chat.
This house is great for a family gathering or friends' reunion, with four large bedrooms, three bathrooms, two big sitting rooms and plenty of room in the garden.
If you want to stay home there's art, books, music or silence. If you want to venture out you're in the Quantock Hills and close to dramatic coastal walks, good pubs and all that Somerset has to offer.

This three storey Georgian house built nearly three hundred years ago is set in an acre and a half of gardens with the classic Cedar of Lebanon and a six hundred year old oak tree below the lawns. The house has many of its original features with high ceilings and huge sash windows. Many of our visitors have said it's like stepping back into the past.
